Business Development Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive who provides administrative as well as technical support to the Chief Financial Officer in efficient delivery of services by assisting in daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.

Responsibilities

As a business development manager, you’ll need to:

• research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets
• seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation
• generate leads and cold call prospective customers
• meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
• foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
• understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
• think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
• work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Business or Accounting Field
• PA diploma or certification is a plus
• Previous work experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role
• Knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices would be an advantage
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Competency in Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
